Ive been taking photos of various degrees of quality for about 12 years, unfortunately I have misplaced a lot of my non-digital (which is most of it) stuff (they are in a file somewhere, I know what that file looks like, but I can I find it? Can I hell), but I have the negatives in a box (and I know where that is) so they might get reprinted at some point.
I mainly work in black and white, although I prefer to take images in colour and manipulate back to black and white as I think it is more versatile. I also love taking black and white images and colouring them. I love contrast and high definition, lines, shapes and textures, looking at things from an unusual angle, extreme close-ups, the seaside and funny faces. Im motivated by playing with techniques and know that there is far more to graphics packages than I can, or probably ever will, get out of them. I am more interested in concept than quality and inspired by beauty in unusual places. I love the science of images and have been know to make my own photography paper using a chemistry set, baking materials and some chemicals I found in a lab once. I miss having access to a dark room and get home sick if I am too far away from the sea. I lose things a lot.
That will do you for now I think
